My second grade teacher sparked my interest in family history when she assigned a small family tree project. That spark smoldered for many years, seemingly forgotten, but I never forgot that initial project. Sadly, I was not ready to pursue family history on a big scale until after all of my grandparents were gone. Fortunately, all four of them were interested in family history and left a wealth of photos, letters and clues to get me started!
