Your Suggest Edits I take stewardship of memorials seriously until such time as they can be handed over to their rightful 'owners'. I can and do research your suggest edits at this time. In general, if it is not on the headstone, I will not accept suggest edits without backup information. This includes: link people based on headstone proximity, or following an erroneous badly-sourced family tree. I do translate Hebrew or Russian inscriptions and can often verify some things that way. I've gotten some fantastic suggest edits, and some truly crazy ones. Please respect these families and do your research before you suggest edit. I will work with you on this, so feel free to message to discuss. Thanks!

Families My only requirement for memorials I manage is that the information *on the headstone* be added to the data fields and serve as a relatively reliable secondary source (since it is loved ones that order a headstone) and I am perfectly willing to adjust or remove "researcher" information I have added from other non-family suggest edits entirely. These are memorials to individuals and it is my honor to "reunite" our families.

Bio I am trying to document my family's community by photographing entire cemeteries north of Boston. Currently Completed: 14. Also:

Ongoing Projects *see virtual cemeteries
Translation Project to identify headstones that do not have identifying information in English
Recording of broken and fallen headstones
Documentation of children's headstones
Identification of Jewish War Veterans

I am currently fulfilling requests in the North Shore of Boston. I also regularly photograph any matzevot I come upon with one of my own family names in the hope that as others do their genealogy, more will become clear for my family. I do transfer these memorials to family members, so please just ask!

If I upload but do not get to your Hebrew or Russian translation right away, feel free to message me, happy to do a special one right away. The best way to get another photo fulfilled in the same cemetery is to use Find-a-grave's photo request feature, although I do take special requests in the cemeteries I photograph.

For anyone responding to my photo requests who I cannot reach to thank, my deepest gratitude as I try to research my extended family.

p.s. transfer requests honored for family, just ask!
