Bio

My name is Ima Catherine Maia, and I am the owner of "MMM". I discovered that I had an aptitude for making floral arrangements when I decided to make a swag from artificial flowers to hang on the wall above my mother's urn. It was a part of the healing process for me as I grieved her passing, to just sit quietly and weave the flora together and remember her love of gardening and all things that grew from the ground. Never seeing myself as a crafty sort of person before, it came as a surprise when it turned out well! My mother was very creative and so I like to think that she posthumously passed on her talents to me, as a way to give me comfort & direction.
I welcome you to The Makings of Momma Maia, the place to find the best floral, candle, and wood décor ~ customized for every taste and occasion. I hand-make every piece with personal care & the utmost attention to detail so that you only receive the best quality product.
I am a disabled wife and mother who works out of my home. Supporting my local community has always been of great importance to me, so I have committed to donating $75 of product(s) every month to a local (Snohomish/King County, WA) nonprofit organization, school, or fire department.
My business model at The Makings of Momma Maia means that I believe in high quality and exceptional customer service. I strive to deliver the best products at the most affordable prices and, depending on your location, personally deliver them with a smile or ship them to you with high-quality packaging materials to ensure your order arrives in pristine condition.
Thank you for visiting, and please be sure to contact me with your ideas for how you envision décor for your space, event, or special occasion. I'd be delighted to assist you in turning your vision into reality! Consultations for occasion & space décor are free for the first 30 minutes, and consultations for events are free for the first hour.
