A former soldier and military history researcher, I wrote a book on The First Tank Crews published by Helion and Co in 2016. Living in (old) Hampshire, I organised the centenary arrangements of the first tank action on the Somme on 15 Sep 1916. I also lead a research group which celebrates and commemorates the lives of those who fought in Mark I tanks in France in 1916
