Bio

The Geneology bug got a hold of me after my mother passed in 2006. My sister and I found all kinds of photos in her cedar chest. We didnt regonize anyone, So I started researching who they were and got hooked! The past has captured me.lol.. I've added lost, yet now found, family cemeteries on here with the help of others thru find a grave. Its a great asset for the researcher. I hope I can be of help for those looking in my current area of Weaverville CA.

Dear Ancestor,
Your headstone stands among the rest, neglected and and alone,
The name and date have worn off of the weathered marble stone...
It reaches out to all who care, Its now to late to mourn,
You did not know that I'd exist , you died and I was born....
Yet each of us are cells of you, In flesh and blood and bone.
Our hearts contract and beat a pulse, entirely not our own...
Dear Ancestor, The place you filled some hundred years ago,
Spreads out among the ones you left, who would have loved you so...
I wonder how you lived and loved, I wonder if you knew.
That someday I would find this place, and come to visit you.
