Bio

I am an old soul that was raised by her grandparents. At a very young age I became interested in family history, since my grandmother was the family historian. I enjoyed going to cemetaries as a child and still do. Can't help but sit and wonder what the stories are behind all these names written in stone. Being raised by my grandparents, I was closer with the older generation and heard lots of stories. Now with all the tools available I can put the stories together for some of these names that are written in stone, including this site.
I enjoy FAG because, thanks to all the hard work of contributors, you can virtually see graves from anywhere. The earlier contributors have documented a lot of stones that may not be able to be located anymore.
I do visit cemetaries and if I notice stones that are not documented or need pictures I try to add what needs added. However, at this time I am trying to focus on my family, both direct and indirect.

If I ask for an edit, I will have documentation to back it up and I ask the same of everyone else. At this time most of my memorials are family members, but if you are a direct decendent of the memorial and I am not, I will be more than happy to transfer it to you. I feel the memorials should be given to family members regardless of how far back. I feel it tends to keep better accuracy to the memorials when family members are managers.
