Bio

Source information provided here rather than a bio. From documents in Frances Benton's Halbert historical files and other files mentioned below. These allowed for adding of unmarked graves for which previously no burial record was found on Find A Grave or Ancestory.com. Many names and generation history provided by Henry Sale Halbert Papers. Henry Sale Halbert papers and Find A Grave Website contribute largely to this document in the absence of marked graves. Application of a ground penetrating radar proved over 100 unmarked graves exist. Many never to be memorialized due to financial, health, remote location during the 1800's . NOTE Many Halbert daughters are difficult to find due to surname changes making searches almost impossible. THEREFORE, daughters names are for relationships to above since the burial location cannot be verified, unless they died prior to marriage. ALSO many surnames are given to siblings and/or names are repeated generationally causing careful analysis before creating memorial additions on Find-A-Grave. Infants which died during or right after child birth were, in some cases, not given names. This might have been to preserve the name for future infants. Further Contributions from a Ralfe B Chise 1979
