I am a native of Massachusetts and presently live in the central Mass. area.My interest and love with cemeteries began as a child. I lived in Fall River, MA then...very close to Oak Grove cemetery. Oak Grove is the burial place of the infamous Lizzie Borden who was tried but found not guilty of the hatchet murders of her parents (who are buried with her in the family plot too) A fascination with this mysterious case started my interest in cemeteries and I spent many hours roaming Oak Grove. I mainly like very old cemeteries from the 1700s and even 1600s...which are common throughout the New England states. I love taking photos of gravestones and am pleased that there is this outlet for me to share my photos with others...and maybe even help out by taking photos of requested graves.
