Bio

My interest in genealogy, historical preservation, and cemeteries began in childhood, when my mother pulled me along in a radio flyer as she went home to historic home, gathering information about the people and places in our hometown of Pataskala, Ohio, for the National Register and our family records. The focus of my research is my family, made up of some of the following surnames: Cruikshank, Lennington, Fravel, Williams, Youmans, Mead, VanDorn, Needs, Wolfe. I especially enjoy investigating the life and work of my cousin, Eleanor Youmans, who published children's novels in the 1920s, 30s, and 40s.
