My interest in documenting grave sites arose from my work on family history and genealogy.

My main focus is on the Maddox/Maddux family in the Lower Delmarva Peninsula of Maryland and Virginia. I have accumulated extensive documentation on the descendants of John Maddox (ca 1790 - ca 1837) and his wife Jane McDaniel Maddox (ca 1798 - 30 Apr 1874). To date, I have been unsuccessful in finding conclusive evidence as to the parents of John and Jane. There are many John Maddox's in the same age range and region making it difficult to sort out with certainty which one is who I am looking for.

A second interest is trying to identify the parents of Jefferson Davis Stinchcomb (30 Mar 1867 - 24 Apr 1933) of Anne Arundel County, Maryland.

The majority of graves I manage are my own family members but I also try to add other unrelated individuals that I come across while visiting. In cases where I have no blood relationship, I am more than willing to consider relinquishing management to their family members.

Also, I have uploaded quite a few old photos. These have been of close and not-so-close relatives of my wife and me. For many of the pictures , I posses either the originals or high resolution scans. If you are a relative, free to contact me if you desire a jpg file from which you can create good quality prints. The files for these tend to run between 10 MB and 40 MB.
