Good Morning All

Started doing my family tree in 2002 and realized I should have listened more & asked questions while my Grandparents were still alive. My Mother tried to fill in some pieces before she passed. Relatives that have been found during the years that have help with pictures and family information, Thank You. The family is mainly from upstate New York, Chemung, Delaware, Madison, Orange Counties and Wayne/ Pike counties Pennsylvania.

In 2010 the husband and I took a trip from our home in the South to the above counties looking through cemeteries for lost relatives that I was unable to find through online resources, we were successful with a couple of roadblocks with the help of many very kind people at the local townships government offices and helpful maintenance workers at some of the cemeteries that didn’t have offices.

Finally decided it was time to link and update my family on Find A Grave, with all the info found over the years I was able to link some of the line to the 5th Great Grandparents which is more than what I hoped for. Hope to take another trip in the next couple of years for more fact finding and filling in the blanks.

I would like to thank the many volunteers who have gathered info to share on US Gen Web, LDS Family Search, Rootsweb, run the local history centers and spend hours doing work that many people have found useful in compiling their family tree from the comfort of their home. Please remember to give credit where credit is due.

NOTE:
I will gladly transfer management of your family member's memorial from the Memorial Park Cemetery of Saint Petersburg, FL that I have added, hope to have the old section done by the end of the year - I was going to just do the photo requests but the office told me they could not help with locations of graves so I started taking pictures in Section B of the Cemetery hoping to find some of the photo requests. But to my surprise when I got home and start to look for the people to add the photos to I found they were not even listed, so my mission began.
