A charter member of The Itawamba Historical Society (Itawamba County, Mississippi). Past president, and currently the librarian at the society's Gaither Spradling Research Library. Editor of the society's membership quarterly magazine, Itawamba Settlers. Co-editor of the book An Itawamba Sampler, and co-author of Images of America: Fulton, Mississippi.
