I worked with Find-a-Grave contributor Geof Wyght before he retired. One day, he was researching some Herbsts buried in Calvary Cemetery in Cincinnati, and asked if they were relatives. I said, "Nah, I don't know anybody buried there." As it turns out, they were my great-grandparents and several great-uncles/aunts! It was fascinating to see how researching their records combined with family lore helped build a deeper picture about them.

My interests include extended families of people with the surnames Herbst and Huth in the Greater Cincinnati area.
