I live in Minnesota with my husband and four children. I work as a nursing assistant with seniors in memory care.I have loved cemeteries since I was young. I am also an avid history fanatic, since one tends to lead to the other. I came across the "Find a Grave" website while trying to find information on a small older cemetery down the road from where I live. I was unable to find it listed in most places as even existing (this site was the only one with it listed!). I made it a personal goal to get to know my local cemeteries and the history associated with them. This site has proved to be an invaluable resource in this mission and it has also brought my family together as we enjoy looking for grave requests, documenting unregistered headstones, or those whom are famous with interesting histories. My family and I now have a goal of visiting every cemetery in the Land of 10,000 Lakes. :)
