I am a working mother but find myself spending hours at the computer about once or twice a year when I start digging into my family history. I am the last of the Matlock's on my fathers side since he is an only child and had two daughters so no one to carry on the family name. I visit the Quincy Cemetery (Greenwood County, Kansas) each year with my father to pay my respect, upkeep the family plot, and lay flowers for my grandparents and great-grandparents. I did not know the Matlock side of my family like I know my mothers side (Capron and Rogers) but I loved them no less.
