Monuments and memorial maintenance require a responsible steward. Research needs to go in to the creation and maintenance of the memorial. I do not post documents on Find-A-Grave, especially certificates of death. They do not show how the person lived or how they should be remembered. A well written obituary can be transcribed and posted in the bio section. For privacy and security, do not include surviving family member names. Photos of the grave site or documented portraits are nice. When you select photo, select one in a time when loved one was in their youth and full of life, a photo of how they thought of themselves or would like to be remembered. If I do not have the research to back your change request on the memorial under my stewardship, I will ask you to provide some. It is the same standard I hope to be held to.
