Bio

My name is Randall Freeman. My mother Mildred was the genealogist of the family. She traced her side of the family back to the ship they came over on, and my dad's family back as far as the 1700s. Mom would drag me to cemeteries as a child, always with a story attached to each grave we would visit. It was a big deal to my mother to visit and pay respect to those gone on before us. As a child, the stories she told went in one ear and out the other. I regret that now, as my mom and dad have both gone on to a better place. I would give anything to hear their stories again.

After my parents both passed, I sought to reconnect with my ancestors and have taken it upon myself to do so. Many of these ancestors include Confederate veterans, of whom I fiercely defend their good names in a time when many seek to dishonor them. I am proud of those from whom I came from and will continue to honor them, always.
