My great grandfather was Armistead Albert Aldrich of Crockett, TX, who was a noted historian and published THE HISTORY OF HOUSTON COUNTY in 1943. My great, great, great grandfather was Collin Aldrich, who fought bravely at the Battle of San Jacinto.

I am named after my great grandfather. I have been doing genealogy research on my family since 2012, continuing the work of my father's cousin.

When my mother passed away in 2011, we found many pictures and letters from our grandparents, great grandparents, and a few from great, great grandparents that she had preserved. Now I am capturing them digitally to add to the genealogy records that I have.
