In restarting a family history project begun ~40 years ago (but put aside as life events intervened), I have found FAG to be a tremendous resource, which very often provides information not readily found in genealogical websites. My primary interest, based on the family project, started with Sawyer / Spencer / Brinkley / Boyte family members. But, that has expanded over time.

Most definitely, I am a relative newcomer as a FAG volunteer, and I am awed by the work that many other FAG volunteers have accomplished over the years. But, if I can make some small contribution to FAG, be it new memorials, photos, additional information and edits, that will offer value to others - family members like myself wanting to better understand their heritage - it is well worth the effort.
