Bio

Christian, family man, married to Yuko and father to Tristan and Erika. Retired Army Judge Advocate and Civilian attorney for the USMC. I've always loved history, especially military history. I'm researching my ancesteral heritage to establishe a record for my children, whose heritage is drastically different from my own, owing to their being 50% Japanese, whereas my DNA shows me as being of 100% European ethnicity with 70 to 80% Scots/Irish/English and 20 to 30% French/German/Norwegian, who all arrived in the America's prior to 1830. My direct paternal ancestor's were Huguenot who arrived at Jamestown, Virginia aroud 1701 with ships full of French refugees sent to Virginia by the English King and forwarded to Manakin, Virginia. They quickly began migrating south, through the Carolinas to Georgia, from whence I hail. My mother's Roberts ancestors followed much the same route, but lingered in Charleston, SC, then continued to Florida shortly after the Spanish were forced to relinquish that colony.
