Bio

I'm a native of North East Tennessee, currently working as a photographer and housewife. I have a great love for history; particularly that of my family, and the towns/counties/states each member of my family is from. I absolutely detest incorrect or illogical information some choose to believe, simply because it is "easier". I enjoy a good puzzle or mystery surrounding each ancestor, and do my very best to make sure I find as many facts as possible to verify a person's identity and situation in life.
I am not, by any means, the "family historian" or "family genealogist". My family has professionals in both equally interesting fields of study. They do not need me for either of them. I simply try to learn from what they have discovered and hope to discover new things for myself. (It's really neat when I find something no one else in my family has, but it's rare.) I am still researching many areas of my family, so I do not have all of the locations for every main surname.

Surnames in my direct line are as follows:

Luttrell (TN-VA-NC-MD-Ireland-England)
Candler/Chandler (TN-NC-PA)
Moore (TN-)
Bowlin/Bowling/Bolling/Bollin/Bolin (TN-KY-VA-)
Ferrell (TN-)
Russell (TN-)

The Bowlin/Bowling/Bolling/Bollin/Bolin side of my family has been linked to Benjamin Bolling. On paper, he is linked as being a direct descendant of Pocahontas. His gravestone even says he is. However, he is not and relation to her or any member of her tribe. He is one who is known as "a Blue Bolin". His real parents' names are yet unknown. However, a DNA study has been conducted for his descendants, as well as those of other "Blue Bolin(s)".

I am happy to review edit suggestions for any memorial I manage. However, please be able and willing to provide proof of the information you are wanting me to add/fix. Being "related" is not legitimate proof. If you have a question about what would qualify as legitimate proof, please feel free to ask me. I am not going to require multiple documents, or an entire biography.
