I grew up in and around the Albion Iowa area. I started making old fashioned lye soap like my grandma and great grandma use to and in doing so I started researching family names. I name all my soaps after my ancestors on both sides. Also I have been working on cleaning, repairing and replacing family grave stones. My Ancestors (the Arneys) came from Indiana, North Carolina and Yorktown Pa. My next project is to try and find where my 6x Great Grandparents are buried in NC and then try to find out who their parents were. It goes on and on!
