I have always loved cemeteries and the history that lives and is sometime hidden in each one. I was told a story about Ben Franklin that really made an impression on me. When he would go to a new city, he would visit the cemeteries there. He said it was a way to judge the character of the people of the town before he even met them. I think that is true. In 2000, our oldest daughter was killed in a car crash. When visiting her grave, our youngest who was 3 at the time wanted to stay and pray over all the graves. I want to do my part to share and help preserve the memory of all those who have been before us.
