The memorials that I currently maintain are all my immediate family, my wife's family, or a relative removed a very few degrees. The one exception is a neighbor of my father's who had no one to create her memorial.
If you want a transfer, ask. I'm not a hoarder. People who have memorials by the tens of thousands, and won't transfer without some "compelling" reason, other than an attenuated family connection, are hoarders of the highest magnitude.
