Born and raised on Robert Pickens homeplace (location of Pickens Cemetery).
Pickens Cemetery is often called:

Old Carmel Presbyterian

Pickens Chapel
Lighthouse Baptist
The cemetery has been under my family's care since 1787, and under my personal care since 1960. I currently own both the cemetery and Pickens Chapel and am working to set up permanent care and management.
The website www.pickenscemetery.org is my creation and has much info about all known graves. However, there are many graves marked with fieldstones with unknown people interred there. If you spot errors in the website, please email me.
