Bio

My Ancestors left Glastonbury  a town and civil parish in Somerset, England in 1631 for the new world and settled in Salem. Mass. and then moved to Norwich, Connecticut in 1660. From there my direct descendants migrated to New Hampshire (1775), Indiana (1826), Kansas (1871) to then to California in 1910 and settled in the San Joaquin Valley and became dairy farmers. I myself was raised on a working dairy in the 1950's. I was in the US Air Force for four years and then worked in a winery for 33 years and retired as a manager in 2009. I left California the day I retired and moved to Wyoming where I still reside. I became interested in genology and joined ancestry.com and researched my family history and created a huge data base with over 4,000 relatives and over 4,500 photos and documents. I joined findagrave.com in 2016 and have visited the resting places of my relatives in Oklahoma, Kansas, Indiana, Connecticut, New Hampshire and California. Feel free to contact me anytime with questions regarding the Rood/Rude family.
