Bio

All my grandparents were born in New Zealand; so all my g-grandparents lived and died here; and two of my 2g-grandparents too. Their names were Montgomery, Draffin, Potter and Myles. These are the main names I am researching, along with their immediate families. But then I get off on connected branches of the tree till I get so far from the main stem that I decide it has got to stop. Some years ago we compiled a Potter family history book. At the moment I am concentrating on getting all their graves into Find A Grave. Lucky for me most of the public cemeteries in NZ have online databases.
Me, I'm a Catholic Priest, semi-retired at Howick parish.
Also I am keeping our parish cemetery up-to-date. And linking 'our' people to their family wherever I can find parents or spouses or children.
I hereby place all the photos I have taken for Find a Grave in the public domain.
