Bio

Retired, tired & getting older!...But my wife & I are still actively pursuing our hobbies of genealogy, and local & family history. We love to mosey through cemeteries when the opportunity permits, but we no longer live close to where most of our family members are buried. After years of using FindaGrave in our research and asking FAG friends to add photos, captions, etc., it seems time to join this group so that we can do our own work for late family members.
My family roots go back to white pioneer times in the northern Sacramento Valley of California (Glenn & Tehama counties) and the Napa Valley area (Norwegian "Slooper" connection). However, we have lived, off-&-on, on the north coast of California since 1966. My main family line names are Wheeler, Osborn, Madland, Anderson (Norwegian "Sloopers"), Birch, Cushman, Valentine, Robinson & Ross.
