Bio

I've been doing genealogy research since the late 1990s, on ancestors who took "go west young man" to heart. These early pioneers often moved to areas where records were limited, thus cluster/FAN research has played a big part in sorting out correct lines. Cemetery records have been an integral part of this process, and I am happy to give back to the genealogy & cemetery-lover communities in however small a way I can.

In 2005 my mother and I took a genealogy trip across 5 states (KS, OK, MO, IL, & IN). Cemetery visits included everything from small family farm plots (climbing with permission through barbed wire fencing for access) to cemeteries with over 10K plots and an on-site sextant.

I live on the peninsula west of Seattle.
