I am the daughter of Deloy Samuel Barineau and Lillian Beane Barineau. Mine and my husband's family lines include Barineaus, Hartsfields, Vickers, Ferrels, Butlers, Perkins, Bean(e)s, Stringers, Boles, Sherrods, McCoys and Redfearns that mostly migrated from the Carolinas to North Florida and South Georgia.

The family that I am most focused on right now is that of John McCoy and Mary "Polly" Brinson of Burke County, Ga. Mary was the daughter of either Adam Brinson II and Mary Polly Shepard or John Brinson, Adam's brother, and Martha Vickers or Perkins.

I am also a member of the Never Forgotten whose membership consists of veterans or family members of a veteran, living or deceased, who want to honor veterans. The members travel to local cemeteries to place flags upon veteran grave sites. Occasionally, We assist other organizations in cemetery clean-up. This provides an opportunity to locate and photograph out of the way cemeteries in Leon and surrounding Florida counties.
