I'm a Smith so wish me luck on that one!! Ha. I have traced the Smith's to my Great Great Grandfather born in 1813 place unknown so far. He married Elizabeth Case in St. Joseph County Indiana in 1836. Turns out he wasn't the Marrying type" Elizabeth divorces him in 1844 in that county and he wasn't present at the time noted "Whereabouts unknown" so the search goes on. I am in the Ashland Ohio area and know of a lot of small cemeteries. If you want a photo of a headstone and no one else on here does it in the area my sister and would gladly oblige you.
