I was born and raised in Murphysboro, Illinois, and many of my relatives and ancestors are from Jackson & Perry Counties in Illinois. I am fairly new to genealogy and ancestry research. I am currently researching Cripps, Elmore, Crawshaw, Struck, and Hopp families. I have also found that I am an ancestor of the Lindsey line of early settlers in Jackson County (Caleb Lindsey 1778-1853 m. Rebecca Rachel Green c.1781-1858).
