I am the son of Evelyn Verl McLaughlin and Billie Gerald Waltz. I was born June 30th, 1953 at St.Francis Hospital in Beech Grove, IN. I currently live in Statesville, NC. My birth name was William Gary Waltz. I was adopted in 1965 (?) and took the name William David Evans. I am a US Air Force veteran of the Persian Gulf War and served 10 years combined on Active Duty and in the USAF Reserve with the 831 Air division (George AFB, CA), 501st Tactical Missle Wing (England,United Kingdom) and the 35 Aeromedical Evacuation Group MacDill AFB,FL) and others. My final rank was E-5 (SSgt.) and I achieved the Fire Protection rank of Assistant Chief for Training. I spent my entire life until 1979 in Indiana having lived in West Lafayette from 1973 - 1976. I have also lived in Sarasota, FL and Statesville, NC. I have never actively participated in the Federal Census with any consistency but have been an Enumerator.
