Growing up, I regularly visited cemeteries with my maternal grandmother and mother to put flowers on family members’ graves. This instilled in me early on that it was important to never forget our loved ones after they’ve passed.

Over the last several years as I’ve researched my ancestors, I’ve traveled to a few different states in pursuit of finding family members’ graves to memorialize and honor them as I was raised to do. While I’m visiting those cemeteries for my family members, I will check if I can help fulfill requests or make note of the individuals who do not have a grave picture. I’m happy to do so as I feel it’s important that no one is forgotten.
