Bio

I am of English/Scottish/Cornish descent(possibly Irish as well), with some branches going back to Colonial times, and others arriving in Mid-America in the latter part of the 19th Century.

Possible grave-sites in Maryland (Coppers), Ohio (Leighs), Iowa (Eliots/ Daniels), Kansas(Leighs, Coppers, Bacons), Idaho, Oregon, Wisconsin, Washington state, and California.

Personally, I got started in genealogy a few years ago, and it is as absorbing and enriching as I knew it would be. I was a late-born child, but was lucky to personally know Great Aunts and Uncles, and most of both sides of the family. Even luckier was that my family at large was very into trying to date and put name, place, year if known, and so forth on most of the pictures in my possession, back to the mid-1800s. And letters, lots and lots of letters....

My greatest regret in regards to my immediate family is that I never knew my grandfathers, one dying in 1925, and one in 1948, a few years before I was born. Through my research, and the above sources, I feel like I know of them.
