I am the son of Bobby Lee Clark and Marian Vidella Foster. My father's family came from West Virginia and my mother's from Southern Illinois.

My father's family comes from Cabell, Putnam and Lincoln Counties, West Virginia, primarily around Coon Creek and Charley's Creek and goes back to Jamestown and to the Plymouth Colony in Massachusetts, with many ancestors in Virginia and North Carolina. The first Clark in this country appears to be Beau Leclerc.

I'm still working on my mother's side, who comes from Southern Illinois with roots in Anna, DuQuoin and Ashley. Her mothers family comes from Germany and France, her fathers seems to have roots in Kentucky, Illinois, Tennessee , Georgia and the Plymouth Colony in Massachusetts.
