Bio

Bitten by the "ancestry bug", I started researching my tree when my father entered hospice. Together, we found the path along the way to be as valuable and far more interesting than knowing just dates and locations. DNA testing disclosed Scandinavian (Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish) ancestry and not just German, Scottish & French. Long lost relatives contacted us with old photographs so it's a great history lesson back to pre-colonial times in America via Europe. Our ancestors didn't "just get off the ship" as I had always thought but many fought for their countries - including colonial America. SURNAMES: Story & Guthrie, Eggert & Burt, Wolfe(PA Dutch/German) & Roupe, Branscombe, Kozad/Cassatt, Barto (Barteau) & Van Slyke, Anderson, Denny, Berry, Worthington, Koch, Perry, Clark, Ketelsen, Koth & Baltisberger.

I am only "managing" my immediate relatives so no transfer requests for that reason. I will be sharing what I have online as I uncover it through ancestry.com.
