Bio

I have been researching my family history for 17 years. My lines include Baum, Steinborn, Harness, Waltz, Volk, Volstorf, Adamson, Barr and Bahr. I am excited to add my information to Findagrave. I feel like I have been called to tell the story of my ancestors...their life journey, their triumphs, their hardships. Sometimes it feels like their voices, their stories are calling out to be heard.Genealogy goes beyond documenting facts. Our ancestors survived so many difficult times/hardships. I feel that what they accomplished in their life needs to be honored and respected. I take pride in the journey of all my ancestors and what they endured. They contributed to who and what we are today. Every family member should know their stories and respect their hardships and losses, their never giving in or giving up,their determination to go on and build a life for their family. To fight for a better future. To all of them, we owe our existence, our futures and our gratitude. From them, we learn valuable life lessons of courage, determination and persistence. Everything they did in their lives, in a way, was for us! I want people to know that no matter how bad things appear in your own life that they can look to their ancestors for strength in order to persevere.
