My name is Tonya Raylene Cate. I was born in Texas in 1965 to Dixie Mudgett, and Melvin "Bud" Cate. My mother Dixie was also a Find-A-Grave contributor (#47313935). She passed away in 2014.

I am a single mom of three wonderful sons. My hobbies include drawing, writing short stories, collecting Scooby-Doo memorabilia, and stories of my family's past.

I followed in the footsteps of both my Mother and Grandmother, and have been researching our family for the past 25 years. Surnames include CATE(S), MUDGETT, CADE, FURNISH, JAMES, MAXWELL, MILLER, THOMPSON, TEAGUE, TINSLEY, FRANKLIN, KIMBALL, KENT, TRITES, KEELE, WATSON, SHARP, and WILLBERN, DENDY, CARGILL, BAILIFF, KELSAY, and TOW.

I have transferred the memorials my Mother managed to my name, so that I may continue to maintain them in her honor. Genealogy was something we always did together, and it still keeps her close. She adored this site, and those friends she met here!
