My only interest is providing accurate details if they are missing or if they are possibly incorrect. In the latter case, if there is a discrepency that is not accounted for by an obvious typo or similar, I will generally use the Edit tab to send a suggestion, discussing the discrepency with you. I promise I am not trying to insult you by doing this, so please take anything from me in the spirit of assistance it's intended to be.

In the event that I provide information that perhaps does not reflect the deceased in the best light, again, I am not trying to throw mud and cause trouble. I only do so to explain how I arrived at my conclusions. I have a criminal ancestor myself who was transported to Tasmania and died there shortly after his six year sentence was up, so my family isn't holier-than-thou, nor do I claim it to be.

I don't know if it's my style of writing or if I'm too direct/abrupt, or what, but the distinct impression is that they think I'm trying to cause trouble and need to be slapped down.
