As a child I spent many hours helping my mother trace our family history. From hours spent looking at micro fische to time spent at the genealogy society looking up books. As I got older my own family have taken up most of my time and the ancestors took a back seat. However my husband and I have always enjoyed a walk through a cemetery-strange to some-very peaceful! We would look at all the different graves and ponder the lives gone before. Now my children are grown up, I have time for the ancestors again! With my interest rekindled I am spending more time in cemeteries chasing graves of my own ancestors and often wonder if I should be taking photos of graves for other families while Im there. I would be more than happy to take a photo or have a look for anybody with ancestors buried near me.
