Bio

A big city girl with some wanderings in my background, too (lived in college towns, lived abroad for a bit).
Grateful Jayhawk (Univ of KS alumnus).
I visited my maternal ancestors' home territory and burial places often throughout my childhood. My grandfather often gave speeches at the cemetery on Memorial Day. After the ceremony, we would attend a reunion of people from my mother's hometown, where he and my grandmother raised her. The town is gone but it is preserved with a memorial marker. Memories and legacies endure.
More to come but this is a good start.
