My mother, Anne Farrier Flowers, was the daughter of Francis Marion and Emma King Farrier. I have some old photos and the Brooks Family Bible; Ann Elizabeth Brooks married William Farrier, second of nine children born to David and Phebe Michel Farrier. Their oldest son, Francis Marion Farrier, was my grandfather.

I've traced some Farrier history as well as, more recently, Flowers history. Both my father's parents, John Lester and Valora Burge Flowers, originally emigrated to the Willamette Valley as children and then to the Palouse Country of eastern Washington a couple of years later.
