I was born May 3, 1950 in St. Joseph, Missouri. I am the second of three children born to Frank L. Dorsel Jr. and Helen Maxine Dinwiddie Dorsel. My sister Judith Marie was born July 25, 1945 and my younger sister Ruth Irene was born June 23, 1955. I attended Mark Twain Elementary, Bliss Jr. High and Central High Schools all in St. Joseph, Missouri. I graduated in 1968. I married Deborah Ann Barnett on my 19th birthday at Brookdale United Presbyterian Church at 31st & Edmond in St. Joe on May 3, 1969. I joined the Kansas National Guard in January 1970-1976. I joind the active Army in March, 1981 and retired in 2000. I was intially a combat Medic and became a nurse in 1983 graduating from Fitzimmons Army Medical Center in October 1983. I am currently living with my beautiful wife Debbie in Leavenworth, KS. We have 2 children. Scott Allen was born May 13, 1970 and Amy Marie was born February 22, 1977. Scott is an electrician for Neilson Ratings system in St. Louis, MO. Amy is a nurse and works at Munson Army Medical Center in Leavenworth, KS. We have 2 Grandchildren named Austin and Alyssa.
