I am a direct descendant (9th great grand daughter) of James Tune (Toone) who came over to the U.S.A. from England. I was born and currently live in Walker county, Alabama.

James Payton Tune is my father (1954-1998), his father is James Wilburn Tune (1924-2000), his father William Franklin Tune (1884-1962), his father David Tune (1848-1930), his father John Franklin Tune (1825-1907), his father Samuel Tune (?-1849), his father John Tune (1757-1812),his father Anthony Tune (1723-1776), his father John Tune (1698-1742), his father Mark Tune (1673-1718), his father the first Tune: James Tune of Virginia from died in 1677.

I am also researching part of my mother's family which includes the Wilson, Harper, Smith and Busby / Busbee families.
