Bio

I've been working on our families genealogy for 30 years. This includes most anybody related to Alexander Stuart/Stewart who showed up around 1690 in Philadelphia, PA as an indentured servant. So that includes Stouts and Hadleys and Wootens (many of whom aren't Wootens); Newmans and Ashleys.
I also cover the Wood family that descended from John & Margaret (Carter) Wood, since my relatives claim we came through them - maybe someday I can verify this. For me, that includes Baileys (e.g., Bailey Island in ME), which includes many offshoots - Pinkhams, Nichols, Adairs, Deans, Farrs, Frys.
And then there are the Buehlers - except they were Hummelbuehlers earlier - except the ones that became Peelers. And finally the Truex, which includes the Peelers - oh, wait, I've come full circle there.
And if anybody knows anything about Jim Jones & Alice Blankenship adopting a Cherokee/Navajo/Hopi indian princess in TX and naming her Helen Jones, who then married Anderson James Joyce, please let me know.
And all that includes a whole lot of graves, many of which have gone the way of all the earth - back to earth.
I have no camera - hopefully before I'm in my grave I'll get a camera. So far I try to get rubbings of grave stones.
