I grew up in Queens NY. On the Allen side, my ancestors spent most of their time in New England. I am a direct descendant of Edward Allen who first lived in Ipswich Mass and moved to Suffield Ct where he died in 1696. My family then moved to Deerfield Mass, then Ashfield Mass, then Grand Isle Vt, then Milton & Buck Hollow Vt and finally to NYC in the early 1900's.
My great great grand father William Edward Allen married Carrie E. Vickery my great great grandmother and her ancestors include at least 5 Mayflower passengers
