Hi! My name is April and I live in Eastern Kentucky in Carter County. Even though I work full time, I love to volunteer for Find A Grave in my spare time, thanks to a friend for showing me this site. I have been a member of Ancestry.com for 10 years researching and trying to locate family information, and these two sites are linked now. When I found out about Findagrave.com I didn't hesitate to volunteer as I understand the value of one single birthdate or death date when completing genology research. If any picture I take can help just one person get answers then it was all worth it. The exercise is also an added bonus! You have my permission to use any photo I take to meet your needs whatever they may be with your research. I'm happy to make corrections, just click on the suggestion tab on the person's memorial and I'll take care of it. Follow those same instructions if you need the information transferred to you. Please understand that you are the expert on your family. When we document burial information in cemeteries, a memorial is automatically created. I promise I do not have a problem making a transfer so you can maintain your family member and tell the world all about them. This site helps people locate their loved ones and family tree information, and I know how valuable that is. Have fun searching and exploring, it's exciting and rewarding.
