Bio

I have been very much interested & involved in the History of Gilmore for over 30 years,& the caretaker of the Gilmore Cemetery located above Gilmore in old Horse Gulch since 1999.
I cleared out all the Mountain Mahogany brush a few years before Dick Moll passed in 2002, so we could bury him at the Gilmore Cemetery. He truly Loved Gilmore & it's History, & insisted to all that he be buried in the Gilmore Cemetery next to Eddy Pierce.
I have since made an entrance sign, complete with a large American Flag & solar light's for night, & a guide sign to the lower cemetery. Head marker crosses for all unmarked graves, Helped set Dick's Head stone, & built the picket fence around his grave. I also built a memorial sign just behind Dick's grave to honor Our good Pal Dick Moll "The Gilmore Kid". The info. sign has a pair of Dick's old snowshoes mounted to it also. I also mounted a brass owl on this memorial sign which has it's very own special story about our old Pal Dick Moll, the day of his burial. I mounted white crosses on a tree, & one on the ground @ the beginning of the path to the Cemetery just off the Meadow Lake road. We hope this will add a personal touch for all to enjoy, & will help hold down future vandalism. I recently added small American Flags to the trail leading to the Cemetery, & an arrow pointing the way. In the summer of 2015, I helped Bill Mahel from Billings, Montana set a new Headstone for his Great Grand Mother (Mary Seiss Cody Dunkins ) in the upper Cemetery. I later added a rod Iron fence to her grave. The summer of 2016 I added Four new Headstones to the Gilmore Cemetery one for (Reese Dunkin Sr.) & one for (William Mckenzie), in the upper Cemetery, & two for (Eva & William (Bill) Daly) in the lower Cemetery. I Also added two new sets of Rod Iron fencing, & gravel for (Eddie Pierce) & (Mary m. Seiss CodyDunkin) grave sites.
