I have been tracing my family lines for 45 years which include: Taylor, Knott, Finger, Hood, Montgomery, Walters, Bechtel, Resler, Bowers, Sharpless, Barton, Arnold, Storm, Haywood, Littell. Several years ago, mid 90's, I compiled the inventory of the KNOTT CEMETERY, located near Bedford in Lawrence County, Indiana, by actual observation of all grave markers and the books of the care taker. Only a few were unreadable and no attempt was made to connect family groups. This was published on my Website and now in reviewing the list on "Find A Grave", it is clear that what is presented is from the inventory I produced. It has not been updated to my knowledge from the time I first produced it in the mid 90's. I have several photos of the markers of my relatives and now I plan on this spring with fare weather photographing all tombstones.
